A day of community TV – and a free lunch!

Whoever said “There’s no such thing as a free lunch” hadn’t heard of the Community Television Association Festival, open to anyone with an interest in… well, community and television. The full day event is taking place at Dublin Business School on Dublin’s Aungier’s Street this coming Friday (November 28th) from 10am. Social film maker and community television producer Declan Cassidy is one of a varied and engaging list of speakers who will discuss topics from shooting content on a low budget to the convergence of media and the role of social media in community television. Registration, whilst free, is limited to 100, and, yes, we weren’t joking about lunch being provided. The event has been made possible by support from Coimisíun na Meán.
